About

Sanbaishan lies in Anyuan County, southern Jiangxi, at the southern end of the Beijing–Kowloon railway in the province, 200 km² of old volcanoes, deep ravines, waterfalls and dense forest, the source of the Dongjiang River.

There are nearly a hundred waterfalls in dense groups; the Fu’aotang fall drops over 150 m and the Wangtian fall 200 m. It also has crater lakes and well-preserved evergreen broadleaf forest.

The Hakka walled houses (weiwu) of Sanbaishan are a famous traditional dwelling of China.
