- Helan Mountain Rock Carvings 贺兰山岩画 2008The Helan Mountain rock paintings are scattered through the Helan Mountains from Shizuishan to Zhongwei, mainly showing faces and nomadic life. They were listed in 1996 as a national key heritage site.
- Western Xia Imperial Tombs 西夏陵 2008The Western Xia Mausoleums, on the eastern foot of the Helan Mountains in Xixia District, Yinchuan, cover about 50 sq km. One of the largest and best preserved imperial tomb complexes in China, they are called the "Pyramids of the East."
- Mingcui Lake National Wetland Park 鸣翠湖国家湿地公园 2012Mingcui Lake in Xingqing District, Yinchuan, covers 288 ha and was formerly Daozu Lake. Wetland protection began in 2000, and it became a national wetland park in 2006.

- Jiangtaibao Red Army Long March Rendezvous Memorial Park 将台堡红军长征会师纪念园 2020Jiangtaipu is where the Red First, Second and Fourth Front Armies met in October 1936, ending the Long March. It has a memorial stele, museum and park, and the site became a national key heritage site in 2006.
