  The Xixia Ode cliff inscription in the Tianjing Mountain gorge, Chengxian, was carved in 171 in the Eastern Han to praise Governor Li Xi for building a plank road. It ranks with the Shimen and Fuge odes as the "Three Han Odes," and became a national key heritage site in 2001.

• Zhangye Great Buddha Temple 张掖大佛寺
  Zhangye Giant Buddha Temple was first built in 1098 in the Western Xia and is named for its reclining Buddha, 34.5 m long, the largest surviving indoor reclining Buddha in China. It became a national key heritage site in 1996.
• Yanzhi Mountain 焉支山
  Yanzhi Mountain, also called Yanzhi or Yanzhi Shan, lies 50 km southeast of Shandan town, once rich in safflower used for rouge. Under Emperor Wu of Han, Huo Qubing defeated the Xiongnu here.

  Dunhuang Yardang National Geopark, also called the Ghost City, lies northwest of Yumen Pass, 180 km from Dunhuang, with over 400 sq km of yardang landforms.
• Yangguan Scenic Area 阳关景区
  Yangguan Pass, about 60 km southwest of Dunhuang, was built under Emperor Wu of Han as a key Silk Road checkpoint on the southern route to the Western Regions. It is named for lying south of Yumen Pass, and the two are together called the "Two Passes."
• Suoyang City Site 锁阳城遗址
  The Suoyang City site in Guazhou was begun in the Han and flourished in the Tang, named for the local suoyang plant, and abandoned in 1524. One of China's best preserved Han–Tang cities, it was inscribed in 2014 as part of the Silk Roads World Heritage property.

  The Leitai Han tomb in Wuwei was built between the late Eastern Han and early Wei-Jin period, and was listed as a national key heritage site in 2001.
• Wuwei Confucian Temple 武威文庙
  The Wuwei Confucian Temple was built in 1437–1439 in the Ming and covers over 30,000 sq m in three groups. It holds more than thirty steles from the Tang to the Qing, and became a national key heritage site in 1996.
• Tiantishan Grottoes 天梯山石窟
  The Tiantishan Grottoes, first cut in the Northern Liang about 50 km south of Wuwei, have 19 caves on three levels. In 1959 a reservoir forced some statues and murals to be moved to the Gansu Provincial Museum; the site became a national key heritage site in 2001.

  The Baita Temple site in Liangzhou District, Wuwei, dates from the Yuan and was listed in 2001 as a national key heritage site.
