About
The White Cloud Cave of Mount Kong lies in the middle of Lincheng County, Xingtai, Hebei, at the eastern foot of the Taihang, 6 km west of the county seat, 86 km south of Shijiazhuang and 56 km north of Xingtai, near the Beijing–Guangzhou railway, National Highway 107 and the Beijing–Shenzhen expressway.
It is a karst cave with four large explored chambers of 4,000 m² in all, with stalactites, stalagmites, curtains, stone waterfalls and curtain flowers: the net-like curling “branches growing from the joint”, thread-like stone tubes, ox-lung-shaped coloured curtains, and stone grapes and pearls bright as jewels, all extremely rare. The largest column is 4.3 m round, the largest curtain 8 m wide, and the smallest stone needles only a few millimetres across.
The area also has Qishan Lake and the Little Heavenly Pool.
