About
The Furong River scenic area in Wulong County, Chongqing, runs 35 km from Zhuzi Creek at Haokou to Jiangkou, where the Furong joins the Wu River, 150 km² of small-scale, richly varied karst gorge and primeval forest on the water.
South China Karst, comprising Shilin in Yunnan, Libo in Guizhou and Wulong in Chongqing, was inscribed as a World Natural Heritage Site on 27 June 2007.
