About
Mount Wugong lies where Anfu County, Pingxiang and Yichun meet in western Jiangxi; its main peak, Baihe (the Golden Summit), is 1,918 m, the highest in the province. The area has more than ten natural caves, two hot springs, the 160 m Yungu waterfall and the Wulong Cliff, 100 m high and over 1,000 m long. The vegetation is intact, with a rare stand of ten thousand mu of Huangshan pine. Relics include the Taoist temples of the Golden Summit, Neolithic sites, the Immortals’ Hermitage and the Yangshan pagoda forest.
