About
Mount Yiwulü, also Lüshan, in Beizhen County, Liaoning, belongs to the Songling range of the Yangshan system. It is the Northern Zhen of the Five Sacred Mountains and Five Zhen, the ten famous mountains, and with Qianshan and Changbai one of the three famous mountains of the north-east. Mostly granite, its main peak, Wanghai, is 866 m.
The Yiwulü national nature reserve has natural mixed conifer and broadleaf forest and is an important stopover for migrating swans and mandarin ducks.
