• Seven Star Scenic Area 七星景区
  Seven Star Scenic Area, formerly Seven Star Park, covers 137.4 ha and is named for seven peaks arranged like the Big Dipper. It contains Seven Star Mountain and Seven Star Cave, and is Guilin's largest comprehensive park.
• Reed Flute Cave Scenic Area 芦笛景区
  Reed Flute Cave lies on Guangming Hill in northwest Guilin and is named for the reed-flute grass at its mouth. It is often paired with Seven Star Cave.
• Crown Cave Scenic Area 冠岩景区
  Crown Cave on the east bank of the Li River is a huge underground-river cave 12 km long, named for a mountain shaped like a golden crown. Visitors can take bamboo rafts through it, and it is a national AAAA scenic area.
• Yao Mountain Scenic Area 尧山景区
  Yao Mountain lies northeast of Guilin's urban area. Its main peak is 909.3 m, with a relative height of about 760 m, the highest in Guilin's urban districts, and it is named for a temple to Emperor Yao once built on its west slope.
• Nanxi Mountain 南溪山
  Nanxi Mountain stands in Nanxishan Park, Guilin, named for the Nanxi stream that winds around it, and also called White Dragon Mountain. Developed since the Tang, it has nearly 200 cliff inscriptions.
• Fengyuyan Tourism Resort 丰鱼岩旅游度假区
  Fengyuyan in Sanhe Township, Lipu, is a cave system linking nine mountains, 5.3 km in all, with a dry section and an underground river; it is named for the fish in the river, and is a national 4A scenic area.
• Red Army Long March Xiang River Campaign Xinxu Sniper Battle Memorial Park 红军长征湘江战役新圩狙击战纪念园
  The Xiang River Campaign sites include battlefields, crossings, command posts and martyrs' tombs. In 1934 the Red Army broke through the Nationalist blockade around Xing'an, Quanzhou and Guanyang; Xinxu in Guanyang was where the Third Army Corps fought a holding action.
• Daxu Ancient Town 大圩古镇
  Daxu is a town under Lingchuan County, Guilin, named among China's top 100 cultural towns in 2023 (second edition).
• Red Army Long March Xiang River Campaign Memorial Park 红军长征湘江战役纪念园
  The Xiang River Campaign sites, made up of battlefields, crossings, command posts and martyrs' tombs across Xing'an, Quanzhou and Guanyang, were listed in 2006 as a national key heritage site.
• Lingqu Canal Scenic Area 灵渠景区
  The Lingqu Canal in Xing'an was dug in the Qin, linking the Xiang and Li rivers, and is one of the world's oldest canals. It became a national key heritage site in 1988 and a World Heritage Irrigation Structure in 2018.
• Red Army Long March Breakthrough of the Xiang River Martyrs' Monument Park Scenic Area 红军长征突破湘江烈士纪念碑园景区
  The Xiang River Campaign sites include battlefields, crossings, command posts and martyrs' tombs. In 1934 the Red Army fought hard around Xing'an, Quanzhou and Guanyang before breaking out; the sites became a national key heritage site in 2006.

  Maoer Mountain, on the Xing'an–Ziyuan border, rises to 2,141.5 m, the highest point in Guangxi, called the "First Peak of South China." It has a national nature reserve.
