The Mount Longmen scenic area spans Pengzhou, Shifang and Mianzhu in Sichuan, over 1,900 km² with its core in Pengzhou. Its sights are groups of “flying peaks” (klippen), peak clusters and caves and Danxia landforms; the klippen, formed as glacial erratics, are of scientific interest.
